Environmental Impact

The file sharing and storage capabilities of the e3 Resource Center (e3RC) help schools further their efforts toward a more sustainable environment. The e3RC eliminates the need for paper by allowing teachers and students to share documents via flash drives.

For Teachers:

As a teacher, you’re walking a fine line determining how many handouts to give to students each week. You want your students to have as much supplemental information as possible to complete their assignments successfully, but you’re also concerned with the environmental impact of printing so many pieces of paper, and the effect on your school’s budget.

For Students:

As a student, you’re concerned about the effect all the paper you receive each day is having on the environment and you’re having trouble keeping track of all of your assignments. Wouldn’t it be easier to carry one small USB flash drive back-and-forth to school instead of hundreds of pieces of paper which will eventually be thrown away?

We Share Your Concerns

At e3 Classroom Technology we share your concerns for the environment and we know how much paper is exchanged between teachers and students. Our goal is to reduce the amount of materials being printed and handed out to help lead to a more sustainable environment.

Return on Investment

In today's school systems many different classes are held in a single classroom. This allows multiple teachers and classes to utilize a single e3RC. If the average savings of one class are $825 and 2 trees per year, imagine a school system utilizing e3RC's in every classroom.

Even with one e3RC in a single classroom, the return on investment is less than one school year.
